Formerly a private residence, The Bates House is nestled within the Frank Melville Park. It is available for private
functions year round. Parking is available on site with a separate entrance along the east side of the park. The Bates House is handicap accessible.

The Bates House interior has a foyer, a library, the Jennie Melville room, a food service area, and an outdoor terrace. The largest, the Jennie Melville room includes an 8' by 20' stage area. Totaling over 2400 square feet, the facility can accommodate 113 people indoors. It is a perfect location for weddings, retreats, receptions, conferences and reunions. Tables and chairs are included.

1. Call Al Meyer at 631-258-7362 to see of the desired     date is available .
2. Set a meeting time and date to view the facility.
3. Sign a contract with a security deposit to insure the     date.

TABLES and CHAIRS
• 10 Five Foot Round tables seating eight
• 4 Eight Foot Rectangular tables seating 10
• 105 tan metal folding chairs

Everything else is the responsibility of the user
(ie.linens, food warmers, etc.)
• All garbage must be securely bagged and places in the     dumpster provided.
• The house must be left clean as it is found.
• A broom and dustpan are provided for clean-up.

RESTRICTIONS
• There is no smoking in the building
• Functions must end by 10 pm
• Music/DJ is permitted at a reasonable volume
• Beer, Wine, and Alcohol are permitted
